Jacob practices law with a focus on corporate and commercial transactions for small- and medium-sized businesses, residential and commercial real estate including landlord/tenant issues, and wills and estates.
Jacob joined MacDonald Evenden in 2018. Before joining the firm, he worked for small firms in Lambton Shores, Mississauga, and London. Jacob is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Middlesex Law Association, and JusticeNet; a non-profit organization that connects Canadian residents with affordable lawyers.
After graduating from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2011, Jacob worked for a major Canadian bank for several years before attending law school at the University of Toronto. While in Toronto, he volunteered with Legal Aid Ontario and a student law clinic at the Landlord and Tenant Board; this experience led him to his interest in landlord/tenant disputes and real estate law.
Jacob was married in 2018 and lives in London with his wife, who is also a lawyer. They spend most of their free time watching movies and arguing about the law. Jacob plays hockey in the winter and tennis in the summer.
